About me

I am an abstract painter from Venezuela. My main source of inspiration comes from my experience as human being, woman, and immigrant. I try to voice the joys and challenges I daily encounter thanks to a very personal creation process. I perceive my work as portraits of emotions framed in a certain situation or circumstances. Texture is the main vehicle I use to evoke in spectators diverse emotions, moods or psychological associations, by bringing their attention from the medium to focus on the object of the artwork.

  

My artwork has been exhibited both in Canada and the United States, and my work has been sold to customers in Venezuela and Canada.
